Helpful (and not so helpful) Products for these Trying Economic Times

As you may know, Tae calls me his Proverbs 31 woman because I know how to save money on beer, make my own cards, and spin flax.  I decided it's about time to share some of my knowledge with you.  I weigh in on several products out there on the market to assess their usefulness or worthlessness to you, the consumer.

Product 1: The Waist Extender

Cost: Under $10

Use: Moisten your garment's waistband, insert the extender and stretch up to 5."

My thoughts:  In this economy we can't afford to buy healthy foods nor can we buy new clothes. Problem solved, fatasses!

Product 2:  Hair Cutting Catcher

Cost: Under $10

Use: Cape resembles an inverted umbrella to catch clippings as you trim, so neck, clothes and floor are protected.

My thoughts:  It also serves as a cone to prevent yourself from licking your surgery wounds. $7.98 for all this? Not bad!

Product 3: Bathrooom Accessory Set

Cost: Under $10

Use: Bathroom accessory set offers a nostalgic touch!

My thoughts: Even though this set is 20% off, no one wants to get soap from a toilet. Trust me.

Product 3: Heated cat pillow

Cost: $12.98

Use: Put in microwave for a few minutes, place on tired muscles and relax away the pain.

My thoughts: Even though I would love to put a certain cat in the microwave (don't think I forgot you, Maleeka), it's kind of messed up. And there's that whole crazy cat lady thing.

Product 4:  Banana Saver Clip

Cost: Under $5

Use: It’s the perfect way to take a half banana to work or school or just to save it for later.

My thoughts: Eat the whole banana you cheap anorexic!

Product 5: Hot Dog Toaster

Cost: $19.98

Use: Hot Dog Toaster is a real "wiener"! Why drag out the grill or boil pots of water when you can have hot, tasty frankfurters and buns in the time it takes to make toast?

My thoughts:  For $19.98 you can get like 20 hot dogs at Costco!  Mmmmm...Costco.

Product 6: Snuggle Fleece

Cost: 14.98

Use: Ultra-soft fleece blanket fits like a robe with oversized, loose fitting sleeves. Ideal for eating, reading, using the computer, playing games or curling up on a sofa or bed.

My thoughts: Also useful as birth control without the pesky health insurance paperwork!

Plenty more tips where these came from.  Just call me Suze.

shopping on skymall again?  i think you can get that snuggle fleece for a lot cheaper ... at a monastary.  also, do they make the hair cutter catcher in kid sizes?  THAT would be useful.
